David Johnson

David is addicted to the additive manufacturing (AM) industry since joining in 2016 and plans to stay in the industry for the rest of his career. With his prior positions at a Stratasys reseller and Impossible Objects, he has experience with several AM technologies spanning thermoplastics, resins, metals, and composites. David lives in Milwaukee and spends his time helping HP customers scale their AM strategy with Multi Jet Fusion and bringing the most value to their business.

David is a product developer with expertise in Human Centered New Technology adoption. David has introduced new production methods and materials in the Passenger Vehicle, Commercial Vehicle, and High-Tech Verticals. David's focus is to two-fold 1) make higher value products and 2) products that are easily manufactured. Additionally, he’s worked in the Additive Manufacturing Industry developing go to market strategies to enable sales growth, by productizing new Additive Manufacturing capabilities and selling channels. David has a double BS in Product Design and Plastics Engineering Technology from Ferris State University, an operations-focused MBA from Wayne State University, as well as an MS in Technology Management from Portland State University.
